Not a lot to report today as I haven’t been out and apart from the usual Sunday chores I have been working on the table cover. I sewed up half of the centre blocks yesterday and worked on the other six today. When I was pressing them I discovered that just one set of three squares were squares were on the wrong way so not too much unpicking! Then I went downstairs and started trying to lay them out, not as easy as it sounds to avoid wrong pieces together. At the ends of the cloth I have faced the blocks a different way. Plenty of possibilities to get it wrong as I continue. I drew a rough plan and pinned numbered and arrowed papers on them before gathering them up.
I have the twelve two third blocks to sew now and then have to see how they match up with the central part, but it is good to have a project on the go that makes me think as well!,
Throw Down and Trigger Point tonight, so some tv time.
That’s looking great! Only one bit of unpicking too, not bad. I usually make at least one mistake in most things I make. It a complicated make with all the working out, but as I keep saying, we’ll worth it. Sounds like you’re really enjoying doing it too. Keeps your brain active if nothing else 😊
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying it, using my brain and making something useful, good combination!
ReplyDeleteWatching explosive Trigger Point now!
