Apart from going to the shop to get lunch I have stayed in today, although to be fair we have been pretty lucky with the weather although it has got a lot rougher this evening. I have spent a good bit of the day cutting out six inch squares of fabric. Had toe take regular breaks as standing really stiffens my knees up and it is not a job you can do sitting down. First picture is of a purchase from Lidl yesterday, very tasty, wish I had bought two!So now I have cut all the squares and will have quite a job sorting them into nine square blocks. I was making a mess but cleared up at each break!
Tina would love Blue to be more of a lap cat and would really like it if she curled up on the bed at night. She took to Tina’s temporary bed today, cats are so contrary!
So, a short entry, but you never know what tomorrow may bring.
I’ve not been out either. The weather hasn’t been quite so fierce as I expected though, which is good.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lot of squares! At least it’s a little easier with the rotary cutter. I can’t imagine doing that amount with scissors! I think it’s going to look great when it’s done, so all the hard work will be worth it. Although you probably won’t think so 😊
Maybe Blue will get so comfy there that she’ll spend the night, then again.
I bet the cashew butter is really nice. Bit greedy to want two though, you’ve not finished that one yet 😊 Good excuse to go back to Lidl for more.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day weather wise than today.
I only said about tow because they may not have it next time, and I get don’t get there very often!
ReplyDeleteWill probably start plying with the piecing tomorrow.
