Greetings from Peterborough!

Today was travelling day, my first journey to Peterborough on public transport for over eighteen months. The bus journey in was fine, Tina came over to the bus stop with the case. Had nearly an hour so got myself a drink at the station and then waited for the first train. I sat in the disabled/bike area and had it to myself!
Caught a glimpse of the bridge before I dozed!!
The train stopped just as we were nearing Doncaster.
Rachel met me at the station but then had to get back to work so I spent some time talking to Olivia and relaxed in the garden.
I saw both the boys and had a chat with Skip then chatted with Rachel when she finished work. We had dinner quite late and then I sat with Rachel in the hot tub for an hour. That was fun and almost dark when we got out!

Hopefully that will make for a good night, although the hands have been quite troublesome today, but fingers crossed. (if I could!)

  1. Not too bad a journey then. At least the trains weren’t heaving with with unhealthy people breathing all over you. It’s a long old trek though.
I really like the pic of the church through the railway bridge. Very nice.
Bet you were pleased to be at your journeys end when you got here. Nice to have Rachel meet you too.
Like Rachel’s garden. I think everyone should have a bar in the garden, barbecue, drink and a dip in the hot tub. Perfect for parties 😊
I bet you enjoyed the hot tub. One would go very well in your walled garden. Very therapeutic too 😊
Enjoy your time here. See you tomorrow.
