Saw this hydrangea while I was out.
There was a bag of dropped apples on the table, some had already gone mouldy so although they were small eaters, there were a lot, but quite a few bruised, si decided to rescue what I could and make a pie for a change. While it was cooking I did the first feed of the Christmas cakes, including the rejects! The pie turned out well.
Tina went to the craft fair and bought me some goodies the cottons are recycled.
Watched the Grand Prix qualifying this afternoon and had a chat with the American clan. After dinner I went to Mappleton, we walked down the slope and onto the beach. Quite a few photos now and even a couple of sunset ones to finish.
Going to the boot sale in the morning so had better remember to take the pills tonight!
Daft bugger, fancy forgetting to take your pills. Could be increasing senility 😊
ReplyDeleteSounds like you’ve had a pleasant and not overly busy day, which is good. Lots of piccy taking too.
I’ve not seen our town cryer for a while. Ours is a woman, and she’s really gobby 😄 You can certainly hear when she’s around even if you dont see her!
The apple pie looks very nice. Cream or custard……or both!
I like the dies that Tina got you. You should get some use out of those on cards etc. What is the furry thing with a tail laying on the table with them?
Mappleton is a great way to end any day, and the sunset looks lovely.
Good gust of wind and those hay bales come come rolling down that slope!
Definitely don’t forget your pills tonight! You don’t want to miss booting, might be bargains.
The pie was very tasty, we had cream.
ReplyDeleteThe hay bales do look pretty precarious, the cliffs are receding at quite a rate without their help!
Will definitely be taking the pills tonight.
