Sorted a bit more for the trip and made a list of things to remember in the morning, and had a chat to Anya. After lunch I tried to use the hula hoop again, not very successfully, going to take it with me to see if I can get any tips! After that I decided to have a play on the machine. A few days ago I had been doodling and drawing arrows and thought I could do something similar on the machine. I had bought some.curtain material a little while ago that was on offer and it had flowers on, so used a piece of that.
I was really pleased with it and had a frame the right sort of size so put it in straight away.
I wrote a couple of notes so walked down to the post box. Saw this classic Triumph car in great condition.
Just over the road from home there is an area where people can sit and relax, a lovely flower bed at the front and then I sat on one of the benches and quite a nice outlook.
A nice hydrangea as I was leaving too.
In the garden I couldn’t resist insect shots!
Tina cooked dinner which was lovely and after that when we had a short walk on the sea front. So will finish with a couple of shots from there.
Good call not going booting. Sounds like it would have been a bit boggy. At least you still did the important bit and had breakfast. The front looks very overcast and British.
ReplyDeleteThe piece you made on the sewing machine looks really good in that frame. It really looks like someone has drawn those on with biros! Very neat bit of sewing and definitely something different. You do come up with some good ideas.
I used to have an old triumph like that many years ago. It was a black one. Really nice to drive and very comfortable. Bet that one is worth a few bob.
That’s a nice seating area, and the flower bed is really colourful. Nice place to sit and relax for a while.
I like the second pic of the butterfly, very nice. I also like the last two. Good skies.
Hope you sleep well tonight in readiness for your trip tomorrow.
Quite a relaxing day and I really enjoyed the machining.
ReplyDeleteI liked the butterfly picture that you did, nice and clear.
A longer journey tomorrow, will be interesting.
