Haven’t felt too lively today, quite tired, if only I could go for a nap on the bed!
I went down the road to the shops this morning and did a couple of chores indoors. Went out with Tina at lunch time, we went to
Driffield as she had banking to do, and then we had lunch, which was good. Took a couple of pictures of the Main Street there, not too interesting and not too busy either! Tina had tha car on charge while we were there.
Tuesday is the day that Lesley comes to do a bit of weeding, but that hasn’t happened that often, but we meet up anyway for a chat and a cuppa. I put her off today so we are meeting up tomorrow instead.
This afternoon I dozed in the chair for a while with Pandora on my lap while allegedly watching the Olympics!
Did spur myself int making a birthday card, I have had a bit of a mental block regarding this card and the birthday is on Saturday!
No pedalling tonight, will write a couple of letters providing the hands are okay. Hoping I will feel a bit more active tomorrow.
Will add a couple of obscure words as I haven’t been doing it for a while.
Adoxal (adj.): Without reason, inaccurate, improper;absurd.
Blentonist (n.): One who locates water or other natural resources by divining or dousing.
Sounds good to me too! Just throw a bit of sawdust down every now and then like ye olden days!
ReplyDeleteAn easy morning then out to lunch sounds a good plan to me. They like their bunting in Driffield! We’re they expecting royalty? Must have been a heavy lunch if you dozed off in the chair later 😊
At least you can be loose with your daily plans. Meeting up with people will either happen one day or another. They all seem pretty much the same to me!
Like the card. Is that the metal stamp you got?
Opulent of good words. Never heard of either and I didn’t know there was another word for a diviner.
Getting double vision!
ReplyDeleteI noticed all the bunting, not sure why.
Yes, I did use the metal stamp for the background of the card.
That’s weird that it sometimes double posts like that!
