That’s more like it!

I had a reasonable night and felt a bit more alive this morning so planned to get some gardening done. But first things first, I finished the jigsaw last night so was quite late to bed. I got quite hooked as I really enjoyed doing it.
This morning Pandora was on my lap again, I have to not sit down if I want to get anything done! Took some close ups of the pretty girl this morning.

The narrow bed down the side of the front garden had become well overgrown and the gravel path is getting out of control. Took a couple of photos from different angles.

The bees like the spiky yellow flowers!

Paul came round as he said he would see if he had long enough ladders to look at the gutters. Scarily high those gutters! He said the gutters are deep and dry and clean!
I had three different sessions on the garden and although it could do with more attention it does look more presentable.

Feeling pretty tired, but in a good way, I think.

  1. The jigsaw puzzle is a very unusual one, and I thought you’d be keen to get it finished. Are you keeping it or is it going to be re-boxed for a charity shop?
Pandora does look cute in those photos, but I know she has another side to her! Quite officious one from what I’ve heard. You should try and catch that at some point and compare the pictures.
That side of the garden definitely needed a bit of attention judging from the before pictures. It does look one hell of a lot better in the after pictures though. Glad to hear you didn’t do it all in one go, and split it into several sessions.
I really like the pictures of the bees in the yellow flowers. Specially with the dead ones in the background, they look really good.
I hope Paul had somebody at the bottom of his ladder to stop it moving. He’ll have the health and safety people after him otherwise! And we all know what they are like!
I’m not surprised you’re feeling tired. You’ve managed to do a fair bit today, and knowing you you have more planned for tomorrow!

  2. Viscous, not officious! Sounds like she’s keen on paperwork 😊

  3. I will break the puzzle up but may keep it, haven't decided yet.
I am not sure I could catch Pandora on camera when she turns into devil cat but if I get the chance I will.
I couldn't believe how bad that bed had got, the garden bin was emptied today and now it is nearly full again!
