Darren noticed the remains of a fire on the road, there were some small bits of glass and we are pretty sure it is where a car was torched. We do have crime in this little seaside town!
I had a fairly easy morning and after lunch went out for literally a few minutes to get some dandelions, nettles and other bits of weed which were growing in the rockery. Not a lot f difference in the photos but the dandelions were blocking the light from some of the plants that are supposed t be there! I was pleased to see that the ivy has begun to climb on the stump, that was my original reason from planting some next to it.
Did get the watercolours out this afternoon as I would really like to get some enthusiasm back for getting some crafting done. Painted the plant Anya bought for my birthday, had an enforced break in the middle as Pandora was determined to sit on my lap! Fairly happy with the result, it does look like the plant but you will have to take my word for it!
Feeling a little less achey today so hoping that may continue!
Hope you didn’t miss too many bargains today. Probably some really good ones there 😊Glad you still went for breakfast though. That’s become a Sunday routine now. Will you continue it after car booting season though? It did look a bit gloomy by the sea. Definitely looks like rain weather, so you did well for it to miss you.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere has crime these days, even little seaside locations. It’s a shame, but those poor little oiks have to do something for fun 🤬
A few minutes gardening every day would be so much better than several hours. But I won’t hold my breath.
The watercolour looks great. You’ve not lost your touch. I’m sure before long you’ll be back in full crafting mode. Then there won’t be enough hours in the day 😊
Fingers crossed you can reproduce last nights sleeping experiment and have a better day tomorrow again 🤞🏻
May have missed bargains, that leaves more room to fit in the ones we get next week!
DeleteYes, lots of crime and now people are blaming the pandemic for stopping the darlings from having things to do!
I keep thinking I should paint more regularly but never stick to it.
