After I had showered and dressed I did walk steadily down to the post box.
After lunch I took another short and steady walk to Lesley’s. We had a cuppa and chat in her garden. I managed to get a photo of a peacock butterfly that settled on the wall.
Last autumn we planted some hydrangeas, they are flowering this year which is nice.
I am not sure if they will change colour, time will tell. The alliums are still attractive when they are dead!
These small alliums are so pretty and the hover flies like them.
I have Pandora on my lap again, not complaining as I am still struggling with the sense of balance. Fingers crossed it will be a bit better tomorrow.
Well that’s not good, although it does sound like the congestion is the likely culprit of the lack of balance…..or the Sherry! Take it steady around the house, specially those stairs! Definitely not like you to go back to bed, so you couldn’t have felt good.
ReplyDeleteAt least you got out for a while to see Lesley. It’s been a lovely day, so it would have been a shame if you hadn’t gone out at all. You were lucky to get the pic of the peacock butterfly. There doesn’t seem to be the same numbers of them around these days.
The dead alliums do look nice. I think a lot of plants look good in pics when they’re past their best. Or maybe I’m weird 🤪
Hope you feel better tomorrow and can have a bit more of a normal day.
I agree about plants that are past their best, often very interesting in a different way. It has been a bit of a strange day but quite restful which was good. The balance still isn’t right so will have to see how it is tomorrow.
