Yesterday morning I had an early appointment to see the nurse at the surgery to do a heart check, I left in good time and sat on a bench outside for a while to make sure my blood pressure wasn’t too high! Took a photo of the clouds, as you do!
Out of sync again, took this one in the garden as I was leaving, wanted to catch the bee and the hover fly.
I also too this lovely dahlia in someone’s front garden on my way there.
Went to look at the see after half an hour with the nurse and had a drink by the front,
I went into the garden again, got a bee in my bonnet about the weeds in the gravel! I made a start along next to where Tina parks her car, plenty of marigolds as well as weeds.
Had to stop so did some clearing in another area as the men came to put the new cables in, a complicated procedure, having to work on the house next door as well as ours!
Tina had to move her car and put it back nearer the side as I had cleared there. May not look like I did much but it took me a good couple of hours.
Yesterday’s efforts have really aggravated my hands, and I am struggling to do this, so will finish with this funky dahlia.
It can be a bit of a nuisance not having the Internet once you’re so used to it. Luckily it wasn’t off for days on end, which is sometimes the case. Hopefully it will be up and running now forever 😊
ReplyDeleteGood to get another health check out of the way. The heart this time, all your various bits will have been MOT’d before long.
Quite a varied day for you again. Sounds like the gardening hasn’t done you much good if the hands are playing you up today! Tut tut!
Lots of photo opportunities though. I have to say the second picture on here tonight is an absolute doozy. I think it’s a fantastic picture. The focus really makes everything stand out. The one following it is also a cracker.
Fingers crossed the Internet is now here to stay!
Do you take it easy today!
It was a varied day, I intend today will be a bit less strenuous and more hand friendly!
ReplyDeleteWas pleased to get the two different insects on the plant.
