It has been a very wet day again, I went to the bakers quite early to get stuff in for lunch. I tried to take a photo of the water rippling down the Heron car park, doesn’t really capture it that well.
When I got home and made a drink Pandora decided to get on my lap. I was using the leg rest and this series of photos shows her progression down my legs in the hour she sat on me!
This afternoon I decided to start one of the illustrations in the new colouring book. This picture features the Rusty Patched Bumblebees that can be found in North America but are now endangered.
I then got carried away and spent some time finishing it!
I am thinking of trying to make a little coaster set in one of the quilting books tomorrow.
Me too with the chopsticks, just can’t get on with them. But like you a did give it a try.
ReplyDeleteWe had some rain here today too. I can see the water running down the road in your pic. Judging by the forecast you could wake up to 6 inches of snow tomorrow!
That’s quite a funny set of pics. Cats are the weirdest creatures. She obviously just wanted a change every now and then. Gave you chance to relax for an hour though.
I really do like the bumble bee. They’re very detailed drawings so must be a nightmare to colour. Good job you’ve got patience.
Trouble at mill again, second attempt to comment.
DeleteIf we get the snow I am not sure the garden will recover!
It was nice to have Pandora on my lap, even though she was making her way down to my feet!
I love the illustrations in the new book, may have to look for some large square frames.
