Presents and some discomfort

Another quiet day today, some colouring, pictures in a bit.  I have had more pain near the wound today and the bruising, especially at the back of my leg which I can’t really see, is getting quite spectacular! May start with the photo that Tina took.
This morning the first delivery was flowers from Anya, from a different company and they were well packaged Nd quite lovely.
Pandora spent most of the day near me, having spent the night on my bed, she really is being a little shadow! Here she is curled up by
Tina’s temporary alter! She is doing morning prayer from home this week as asbestos is being cleared out in the church.
Another delivery and this time a Devonshire cream tea from Anya and family. A photo of one of the scones in a bit. I coooured another one of the letters this morning, cracking with them!
This afternoon my book of Celtic illuminate letters arrived. There are three pages at the end that aren’t single letters, have started one of them and am trying to get more shading.
I had a telephone consultation with a doctor this afternoon, he was very good and has prescribed a different tablet for me to try nd suggested that I don’t take one of the combination that I have. The new prescription should be ready for tomorrow.
Despite have some more, different pain, I am managing the exercises much better now so that is positive.
Tina hasn’t felt too well today so we had take away this evening, and now I have just had one of the delicious scones,
Watching Portrait Artist of the Year now.

  1. Oh my, that’s what you call a bruise. You don’t do things by halves do you 😊 Hope you’re not going too mad with the exercises, specially while you’ve got those bruises. Hope the new tablets the doc is sending are nice and strong.
Pandora is probably scared you’re going to disappear again. But it’s nice she wants to be with you. I think cats can sense when you’re not feeling so good.
I like your latest colouring and with the new book you’ve got plenty to do.
Nice pressies today. Bet the flowers smell lovely. You’ll run out of room for flowers and plants soon. To be honest I’d rather have the scones any day 😊

  2. Very nice pressies today, I am very lucky.
The bruises are still developing, quite a sight! The knee has been feeling sore today but it is around the wound. A helpful doctor today which was a relief.
Tina is off tomorrow, so we may venture out briefly, depending on how we are both feeling.
