Then I started to decoupage a couple of small boxes with some napkins that I bought when we had our trip last week.
This morning I went into the garden to gather some leaves. The bamboo hoe that I got at the boot sale was perfect for the job. May not look like I did a lot but filled four large sacks!
This afternoon I have helped Tina with a couple of jobs, tied poppies onto the crosses that I made last year for her to put in the churchyard for the weekend and then help her get her mailings ready for sending to her parishioners.
Will probably spend some more time in the garden tomorrow. I have used the pedal contraption a couple of times today as well, got to keep as active and fit as possible!
Well you’re definitely not running short of things to do at the moment. Hope you continue to find stuff to occupy yourself while you’re stuck at home. At least at the moment you’re mobile which helps no end. Once you’ve had the op you’ll be a little more limited for a while.
ReplyDeleteThe drawing looks good to me, and who’s to know it might be someone you’ve made up 😊 Boxes are nice too. I’m guessing by the end of all this you’re going to have lots of craft items and cards stocked up. You should be ok for cards and gifts for quite some time!
I quite like to see leaves on the ground like that. I know it’s a pain to clear them all up, but like painting the Forth Bridge!
The peg crosses have done well, you must have used to really good glue on them because I’m betting they got a bit damp at times last year.
I don’t think there’s any fear of you not being active while you’re isolating. Don’t go mad at it though.
The leaves do look good in banks like that but a pain when they are in the flower beds as it is hard not to damage the plants when clearing them. Hopefully we will get the blower out next week.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to do a bit of craft in the evening, I often just put old detective dramas on and vegetate!
