He can’t help but make me smile!
This morning I took a slow walk along to the church as I wanted to see the nativity I had cleaned for Tina displayed in the lovely crib that Steve has made. It is lovely with a Perspex front to protect it and would be difficult not to spot it when walking by the church!
Rachel and Skip called in briefly this afternoon. I had her birthday present wrapped and ready and they also took their cake. I got some more lovely flowers, have been very spoilt this week.
I have done a lot of present wrapping today and watched some of the Grand Prix, very spectacular and scary crash today.
Tina cooked a lovely roast dinner which I enjoyed, should have major surgery more often!
Strictly results now and hopefully more sleep tonight.
I think you’re staying very positive all things considered. Just keep telling yourself it’ll all be worth it in the end. It’ll be nice to be a bit more mobile for spring and summer, assuming we’re actually allowed out by then! Although with all the flowers and gifts you’ve had, plus dinner cooked for you etc, it does have its good points. Love the groot 😊
ReplyDeleteThe nativity looks fantastic. I really do think Steve has made a wonderful job of it and should be praised highly for it. The figures look extremely well cleaned too 😊
Nice that you got to see Rachel and Skip, even if only for a short visit. She’ll have cheered you up a bit just by coming. Like the flowers too. I do like those ornamental cabbages.
Well I hope you sleep well tonight. I’ll certainly keep the fingers crossed. 🤞🏻
Things will start improving soon, the swelling is going down, the bruises are fading and turning yellow so good signs there. On Wednesday the dressing comes off which should make it feel easier too.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely nativity set, and Steve has made a perfect crib for it, I really hope no little horrors decide to vandalise it.
I like the ornamental cabbages too, look good in bunches of flowers as well as in flower beds.
