Garden and letters

Will start the post with a couple of photos from two years ago as I haven’t been snap happy again today. Love this one of the sparrows in the pampas grass near the sea.

And it was two years ago that I saw Evelyn Glennie at the Hull Truck Theatre.
This morning Tina drove me to The Spire hospital to have my Covid test. Not very pleasant but done now, as long as I don’t get a call to say there is a problem then it is no news is good news and turn up on Saturday,
I had another delivery of bird food so took that to the greenhouse and got it into containers, then I spent a while working on the big flower bed in the back garden.
This afternoon I settled in the dining room and finished a coloured letter and then wrote letters. Tina was out and we were expecting more deliveries, my lightweight dressing gown has arrived now.
Marjorie, one of Tina’s congregation left a great jigsaw puzzle by the front door for me. That will be fun!
The wrapping paper I ordered from Save The Children arrived today so may do some parcel wrapping later.

  1. That is a nice pic of the sparrows. I like it when Google reminds you of old pics you’ve taken. It’s surprising how quick you forget them.
Having seen the COVID tests on tv it looks a very uncomfortable procedure! But if it’s got to be done then it’s a case of putting up with it. Yet another step closer now.
Sounds like you’ve managed to do a fair few things again today. You’ll have everything ship shape and all the necessities for your hospital visit sorted soon.
You really are on a roll with the letters. That’s a nice one. The puzzle looks fun....not! Should keep you occupied for a while at least.

    1. Yes, I feel that I am getting things organised, not long now all being well.
I have really enjoyed doing the letters, some designs are nicer than others but that adds to the challenge to make the best of them!
I had completely forgotten the picture of the sparrows so it was a really nice memory.
