Gardening, cooking, colouring

This morning I went out into the back garden, was going to do a quick check round the beds but ended up  concentrating on the bed where the gladioli were. Should have taken a photo before I started, there were stakes and wires, lots of dead plants and copious weeds!
We were expecting deliveries and Tina had to go out, she also was going to take the easel into church for a service so said I would clean it, well, definitely dust it!
I made a very large cottage pie for us to have for dinner, won’t be cooking any meals for a while I think. Also needed to get the bed changed, always a bit of a struggle but I have worked out a knack using pegs on the duvet! A couple of pictures of the changing sky behind the church.

Darren and Tina have taken Blue to the ver this evening, she has been sick a few times the last few days. They have gone to A pet store in Bridlington and Tina texted to say she is very impressed with the set up.
Finished another one of the illustrated letters.
First medicated shower tonight, then Holby😊

  1. Well hopefully that’s the last of the gardening and any major jobs for a while. It’ll all still be there, including extra “plants” when you’re ready to start it all again. You’re going to get bored out of your head with no gardening, cooking etc!
That’s a nice easel. Obviously the dusting has made all the difference.
I’ve started using the peg idea when I change my quilt cover too. I used to do the inside out thing, but the pegs seem much easier. Still a flaming hassle to do though.
Hope Blue has some pills to make things better.
The church looks good again in the pics.
    Enjoy your evening.

  2. Bit more gardening tomorrow maybe, I didn’t get very far today!
I am sure I will find things to do that don’t require too much effort. No doubt have plenty of exercises to do as well!
Blue has had an injection I think, Tina was very pleased with the visit and will be going there again when necessary,
