Not a great view, but great to have an opening window.
Took the first photo of me in the early hours, I felt pretty rough yesterday, very nauseous and being sick. The second one was when I had freshened up and feeling fine today.
Very different look, maybe not one to keep though!
Have been eating today, the meals are fine and I particularly enjoyed my tea.
Had physio exercises this morning and have been out of bed using a frame this afternoon. Can go to the loo on my own now!
From that to this!
Standing was pretty painful and the lifting the leg when sat on the bed really painful too, but it will get easier. All in all, a good day today.
Well after all the things that have happened, cancellations, COVID, blood pressure etc you finally made it. Yayyyyy! Hopefully once your fully recovered it will make quite a difference to your life. Basically you’ll be able to do twice as much gardening, cleaning, sorting, crafting etc 😊
ReplyDeleteLooks a nice room, and you’re right, Paul does look like a very friendly and cheery chap.
Glad to hear you’re feeling better today. I suppose queasiness and sickness can be expected. You should definitely get bothered the pics of you printed and in one frame as a before and after!
The meals look lovely. Quite fancy a bit of a vacation there myself.
It’s amazing how quick they get you up and on your feet. In ye olden days you’d have been in bed for ages. I’m not surprised standing was painful considering what they did to you leg! Probably doesn’t need saying, but no running about, take it easy for a while.
I think running around is a little way off! Never was much of a runner even in my prime!
ReplyDeleteThe staff are all really lovely which is good and encouraging.
Hopefully the pain will be a little easier tomorrow, although the instructions did say it would cause more pain but won’t damage the joint!
