A very pleasant day, I did manage to go swimming, haven't been for quite a while. Then I walked down to the front, plenty of dog walkers and a lovely morning. Took this picture as I headed back.
I walked back through the park and a squirrel came up to my feet and stopped looking up at me, didn't have anything for him but he sat long enough for me to get the camera out!
Then a pigeon preening, wild life morning!
Then a picture of the lake which looked stunning this morning.
It is Tina's day off today and we did some sorting in the spare bedroom as she has company coming at the weekend. Then we decided to go and have a walk round The Mere as it was such a lovely morning. We cut up some spare bread before we went as there are a lot of ducks, geese and swans there. After we had enjoyed out cuppa and sausage bap we went to feed the birds, a real feeding frenzy!!
I fed some of the geese brave enough to come close!
Then we walked round the lake, a beautiful place.
Lastly, I just like this picture of a swan swimming away.
Great picture of the lake in Peasholm Park. Nice reflection, and the flags in the top of the shot just finish it off nicely. In fact all the pictures are nice. The Mere looks a really nice place, and if they do sausage baps and tea too, it's about perfect. Well, that's The Mere on my list then!
ReplyDeleteThe squirrel looks very cute too..... awwwww!
You have to be braver to go near the geese rather than them be brave enough to come to you. Vicious things! :-)
The Mere isn't far, and it's a good sausage sandwich at a good price! One of the white geese did nibble my hand a couple of times, but not really that hard!
DeleteI will be calling you Peasholm Jan to go with my Peasholm Pat soon - beautiful pictures very tranquil x
