Sparse boot sale, sky and buttons!

Darren took me up to the boot sale this morning, very few stalls in sight. Took some pics of the sky before going in for our breakfast panini.

Another picture as we went into the sale area, you can see how few there were!
We had a look round and even got a few bits, the sky was looking dramatic as we went back to the car.
Because I was waxing lyrical about the sky Darren drove back via the sea front, we did have a nice hot chocolate there!

Took this last one as the wind farm was quite clear, but not easy to get on the phone camera, made for a different sort of picture though!
We had dinner at lunch time today as I am good no out and so was Tina. But around that I have been trying to do a couple of button canvases in case the Welcome Centre open morning still happens!

I haven’t got a great selection of buttons but if I run a class I have time as it isn’t until February!
Off to see The Manfreds Christmas show this evening.

  1. Definitely worth getting out to the boot sale even though the cars were extremely sparse! The lovely skies made it all worth while though, as no doubt did the breakfast panini and the hot chocolate a bit later. The sea was a good stopping point too. Great pics, specially as they are on the phone. The second sea pic is my favourite. That’s one for the folder without doubt!
The button pic samples have come out ok considering you only had a limited selection.
I’m sure The Manfreds will be another good show. Take it easy with the aisle bopping though or you’ll have even more trouble with the knees tonight 😊

  2. The sky pics were a real bonus, especially detouring to see the sea.
The show was really great, two great supporting acts and the Manfreds were brilliant, Paul Jones doesn’t look any different!
Almost midnight when I got in.
