I managed to get it into the trolley and walked up to deliver it, she lives near the Floral Hall. Had a cup of tea and a mince pie with her. It was raining a bit when I walked home but not too bad, got lunch in and sat with Tina. We were entertained by the latest cat wars!
I was getting ready to phone Sarah and arrange going to see them when I had a phone call from the cottage hospital to see if I could go in for my knee X-rays this afternoon. As it was raining quite hard by then Tina dropped me off, I took my brolly for the walk home. Had to sit and wait wearing a fetching hospital gown!
I did visit David and Sarah on the way home as there have been a few problems with a meeting I am helping out with on Wednesday.
This evening is Christmas card writing time, that’s if Pandora decides to move!
Sorry to hear Tina wasn’t feeling too good, but it looks like you managed to make use of the day. I’m sure she’ll get you to the sewing machine shop before too long. Fingers crossed no urgent sewing jobs crop up before then π€π»
ReplyDeleteGetting the cakes finished was a really good job to get out of the way. You can relax again now until next year π
The X-rays are another good job out of the way. Hopefully you’ll soon be a step closer to getting something done. The gown isn’t too bad either. At least it had a bit of colour in it and isn’t plain white like I remember them being.
Pandora isn’t going to let you out of her sight for a while in case you run off and leave her again. She does look extremely cute sat there too, so it could be worse π
It was a good thing in the end not going to Scarborough, I would still be waiting for the X-rays if we had gone.
ReplyDeleteNice to have the cakes finished. Just start needing to make button pictures now!
