I was surprised at her w well these next photos came out as it was about 7.30 am and still very dark!
And these two were still before sunrise.
It was a strange sunrise, I did see the sun come up but in a very narrow strip and soon gone. No real colour.
I had a hot chocolate at Hucklebury’s and then walked back via the butchers and bakers! Didn’t get home until about 8.45 am and then went straight out into the garden with Pandora as Blue had been out and come in again! She had about half an hour outside and sat in front of the summer house bird watching!
This afternoon Tina had to drop some things off at Skipsea church so I went along for the ride. The fields are so flooded there that they look like small lakes!
The church looked good with the nice light.
The we had a naughty stop at Mr Moo’s, Tina took these pics!
I took Pandora out for a little while again when we got back.
We have had dinner now and I am sitting with my feet up. I am hoping I will have a bit less pain and get more done tomorrow. I did get some Christmas shopping in this morning but the local shops had one mincemeat!
Blimey, that was an early start today. But the shop windows in the dark are actually quite atmospheric. I love the first two of the seafront. The way the light are lighting the walkway and railings, ant there’s just enough detail in the sea too. Very good. Shame the sunrise want a bit better for you, but those two pics made up for it. A nice hot chocolate made it worth while too, and I’m guessing you were nice and warm with your pyjamas as an under layer 😊
ReplyDeletePandora looks like she’s eyeing up the wildlife and making future plans! I’m surprised she sat in all that mud knowing how fastidious she is about cleaning when she goes in.
The second Skipsea pic of the lakes is another great one. Silhouettes are such nice compositions. That ice cream at Mr Moos is disgraceful! Bet it tasted really good.....and yes I’m jealous 😊
Feeling quit tired now, so is Pandora, what’s the betting she wants to play when I get ready for bed!
ReplyDeleteThe sundaes were very naughty, but delicious!
The sea pictures were a bit different and I quite liked the shop ones.
May be mince pie making tomorrow if we can track down any mincemeat!
