Christmas period and I got the large gammon joint into the slow cooker, one less thing for the fridge for now! While Tina was out I got a delivery of flowers, so got them into water to rest before putting them in a vase. They are from Anya, Louis and Isobel and quite beautiful. Bluedecided thebox was pretty good too!
The roses are actually a much deeper red than the photo suggests, they smell too as roses don’t often seem to these days.
I walked to the doctors and made an appointment to see Dr Latif on 7th January to discuss the X-rays. When I got back Tina had taken in a delivery for me. A fancy dress outfit.
You ain’t seen nothing yet, this is the New Year’s Day dip in the North Sea!
Got another surprise today from America, so more fun as what a great gift!
Today is Blue picture day for a change, here Tina was trying to get on with her work!
I made batches of pigs in blankets and froze them while I was getting dinner and have been to visit Sarah and David for a while this evening.
Last minute stuff to do tomorrow!
Sounds like you been quite productive in the kitchen today. Plenty more of that over Christmas and the new year too.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a beautiful bunch of flowers. Hopefully they’ll last a long time. Very Christmassy. Nice to see the oversea branch of the family also think you’re crazy. Otters, spiders, plus a lot of other things! Love the swimsuit ๐ I’d pay good money to see you go into that freezing cold sea on New Year’s Day. It appears your family have it right....you are CRAZY!
Didn’t get as much done as I had planned in my head but it was a reasonable day. Hopefully will be filled with energy and enthusiasm tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteIt will probably decide to snow on New Year’s Day!
Well if it snows it’ll probably feel warmer in the sea. Good luck with that. You’re as mad as a box of frogs ๐
