Frank while she was drying some pieces of work.
Linda, who has been coming to the sessions on a Tuesday morning finished off her really lovely piece of work. The sun was across the middle of it but you can still see the amount of work. This lady says she isn’t at all artistic so she has done really well.
I had taken the equipment down in the trolley and luckily missed the rain, which has been and gone a couple of times today. Tina heated up the mushroom soup I made a couple of days ago and we had that for lunch. I have never made mushroom soup before but will do again as it was very tasty.
Jacky from HUG came round for a while this afternoon which was nice, we haven’t had a bit of time together all summer.
I have finished icing all the cakes this evening and assembled some of the decorations, so can get on with that tomorrow.
Decision time now, can I really be bothered to watch the two political party leaders telling more lies and avoiding answering questions!
That was definitely a well attended session this morning, shame neither of you were on best form. It’s obviously popular though. Love Linda’s picture. That’s a great piece of art from someone’s who’s not artistic. It really is a nice technique that produces great results from a simple process.
ReplyDeleteIt’s rained here a few times today. Very heavy at times, but I’ve managed to miss getting caught in it. No doubt it’ll get me another day!
A busy afternoon for you too with a visitor and cake decorating. Closer to being finished though, for this year at least.
Listen to a bit of music instead of political debates. Much more interesting and certainly less annoying!
The sessions have gone well, but I think one more at the vicarage and Tamar and I will be all dotted out!
ReplyDeleteIt is good to have the cakes iced and I have a lot of the decoration made, so feeling okay about that.
I did varnish my gecko today so will take a picture of that for tomorrow.
