Making coins and tidying!

Today I went out early to get veggies and a few last minute things. Pottered downstairs and got the kitchen floor washed as Tina and I have both been baking.
I forgot to mention that yesterday Pandora had quite a lot of time outside, she is beginning to feel more confident and finding her way around. Today she decided to go and check out the museum grounds next door!
She found her way home, and did run in when Blue chased her which was good. We had wondered if she would run out of the garden! They are still not getting on but Pandora is causing the confrontations some of the time now!
Yesterday I cooked a large gammon joint in the slow cooker, Tina and I sampled it today and it tastes really good! When we were shopping in Scarborough last week we bought a mould for making chocolate coins. It came in a pack with foils and boxes. I had a go at them today and made a few chocolates with a blueberry inside with the spare melted chocolate.
When they had set I turned them out and then wrapped and boxed them.

I went out to top up the bird feeders this afternoon and the church was lit and the bells going no ready for the crib service.
I will be going to the midnight service in a while.
Wishing anyone who reads this a lovely Christmas and a happy 2020.

  1. Pandora looks like king, or queen of the castle up there. Glad she’s getting used to the garden and the general locality. I’m sure she’ll always find her way back home. She knows where she’ll get fed and cared for.
I’m amazed you find time for making chocolate coins with everything else you have going on. They do look very nice though, and now you have the moulds it can become another Christmas job to add to the list!
    Merry Christmas.

  2. Pandora has been a little spooked today with the garden, as Milo, the big bruiser grey cat from next door caught sight of her! I think she thought it was Blue at first but soon realised her mistake!
The moulds are fun and I can see making earrings with fimo using them!
