Short entry!

I have felt rather lethargic and really ache today, maybe keeping up with the Fitbit is taking it's toll! I did go for a walk this morning and called in for some shopping on the way home. The mist has been here all day and it has felt like rain in the air.
I have some trousers to shorten before my holiday so I started trying them on and working out just where they need to be! I often take them up a bit too much or they are a bit too long!
Tina had a meeting at Freeport this afternoon so I went up with her in the car. Bought a couple of bits and then I walked home. Was going to call in at the mere but the gates were closed. I did take a picture of a plant that just looked fabulous with the water droplets on it and a garden as I left Freeport. I walked home a different way today.

We have had dinner and won't be in bed late as we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. Darren and Tina are off to the garden party at Buckingham Palace and I am travelling down with them and planning to visit Churchill's War Rooms.

  1. You certainly have upped your exercise routine since getting the Fitbit. Good in a lot of ways, but don’t overdo it. The government have missed out on a good thing really. They should give OAP’s fitbits instead of bus passes. We’d be a lot healthier nation :-)
Had to smile when I read the last paragraph. You make it sound like a typical day out.......off to a garden party at Buckingham Palace and visiting Churchill’s War Rooms :-)

    1. Guess that did sound a bit odd, just wanted to get it written quickly this evening. Should be longer tomorrow although it may not actually be written tomorrow! Fitbits for OAP's, there's a thought.
