Hello America!

Tina and I were on our way just after 7.30 am this morning, it was a good journey and we were at the airport soon after 10 am. Found a parking spot in the multi storey quickly and went through to check in. Because I had upgraded I was allowed to go to the priority desks and was sorted almost immediately with none of the stresses of my last trip! Tina and I had breakfast together before she set off and I made my way to security. That wasn't too bad and the time before boarding passed quite quickly. The windows were dirty but I took a couple of pictures anyway.

Boarded the plane quite early, the seat was comfortable and there was more leg room. Had a nice couple sitting next to me so we chatted a bit and he tried to sort the phone out, but it wasn't letting me onto the wifi, but I didn't really need to be. The food was good and we were near the loos, so all good. The flight landed a bit early but we were sat on the ground for twenty minutes or more as there was another plane where ours was due to dock at. Border Control over here is a bit of a nightmare, but got through okay, collected my case and almost collided with Lee as I came out! We had a good chat on the way here, the traffic was pretty bad so it took a while. Great to see all the family, how the children have grown! It is over eighteen months since I have seen them. We had very nice burgers and fresh sweetcorn out side. I have been for a bit of a walk this evening and took a few low light picks as it was well into dusk by the time I was out there.

Now gone 9.30 pm US time so about 2.30 am our time and I was up just after 6 am. didn't sleep on the plane so should think about getting to bed I think. Going to see Kate and Mark play soccer tomorrow I think.
