Tina dropped me off at the hotel this morning and I enjoyed half an hour in the pool, on my own today which is great. I wanted to buy some crystallised ginger so did that after leaving then made my way straight to the bus stop. My ankle didn't seem too bad then but I have stayed in and iced and taken the pills as suggested. A pity that it has started to hurt even more this afternoon, not sure where it is going, but not up at the moment it would seem. I usually get one sort of ginger but they had some more, darker looking, which has been crytallised with raw cane sugar, boy, is it hot!
I have been watching tennis, so not a bad afternoon, I got one of the puzzles out so that I had something else to occupy me.
This was after I had done the edges, I am actually a bit further along with it now.
Darren and Tina came up for a while when Jo Konta was playing her quarter final and Darren sat on 'Blues Chair', one way of getting this little cat onto your lap!
It has drizzled a lot of the day but is a bit brighter now, so some blue sky, the wind is up as you can see from one of these pictures.
Holby later and a new drama called In The Dark I think.
The ankle really doesn't seem to be responding to anything you've tried so far, which isn't good news at all. Job to know where to go from here. More rest and ice for now can't do any harm though.
ReplyDeleteQuite like the picture on that puzzle, it's very colourful. Not sure I'd even get to the end of one, let alone the amount you must have done by now!
I listened to the tennis, and was pleased I did. It was a great match. Real edge of the seat stuff.
Like the silhouette of the first sky pic. You don't need lots of colour to make a good shot.
Trying to think positive with the aches and pains, and accepting that I may never be that nimble, we will see.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great match and we have Andy to cheer on tomorrow.
