Enough to brighten any day for sure. We drove back via the sea, but the sun had almost gone, it was a bit misty and a very muted, different look to the night before.
This morning I caught the 7.32 am bus into town, it stops near the hotel, so I went for a swim. Had the pool to myself again which was good, and I am doing more leg exercises now to compensate for the lack of walking. I had breakfast in a cafe at the top of the cliff lift. Took a couple of different shots of the distant castle.
It was raining and very misty, the shot of the bay you can just about make out the distant cliff.
After breakfast I made my way to the mobility place, they don't open until 9.30 am. I hired a slightly bigger scooter which I felt much more secure on. I did one or two chores in town, it is Sea Fest weekend and they were collecting for the Life boats.
In the works I spotted a fairy house that I thought would be really nice to do up with the pyrography.
I have had a fairly quiet afternoon, looking forward to Casualty later.
That's a really nice bunch of flowers. She always manages to pick out nice ones for you. So colourful, would make a great subject for drawing. Makes sense to make use of their mobility scooters while shopping. That's why the put them there, and you genuinely need it at the minute. Like the distant castle shot with the red flowers at the front, again very colourful.
ReplyDeleteThe fairy house is really nice and I think a combination of pyrography and colour would suit it nicely. Maybe flowers growing up the front, drawn with the iron, but also coloured in. But what do I know, I'm in the slightest bit artistic :-) I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
I had thought that a combination of pyrography and colour would probably be the best way to do the house.
ReplyDeleteI had thought about painting the flowers too, maybe tomorrow.
Blimey, there's artistic hope for me yet! Well at least the ideas, actually doing it would be a totally different thing :-)
DeleteYou are more artistic that you let on, and very creative.
