Great skies again yesterday evening.

I had a quiet morning indoors and then Darren drove me to the hospital for my physio appointment. It was a different physio to the ones I have met before, but he was very good, examined me and measured the amount of movement I have in the knee. Listened and understood how difficult having the ankle bad was making things. But the good news that everything I have been doing got the okay and he gave me some exercises to do to try and improve the strength and mobility. I have an appointment to go back in about three weeks.
I caught the bus back to town and got off opposite the station. I have always thought the green area there is kept well, as are most of the green spaces in Scarborough.
I caught the local bus home and have had a quiet afternoon, although I did do the exercises. Tina had asked if I will go and be the second person at the church while she had a wedding rehearsal. The sea in the south bay was very calm today, a good view of it from the church grounds.

Took a picture of the church as we went in.
And a couple of the stained glass windows when I was inside.

I was making a cup of tea when we got home and my kettle decided to blow up, I unplugged it quickly when it started sparking.
It has rained today but is bright and sunny now although there have been some dark clouds about.

Will try and get to the pool tomorrow and hopefully having lunch with Tina and some of her friends from Hull.

  1. You make me so envious with all these skies! Love the fourth pic, just brilliant! Your daytime photos from today are extremely good too. Some lovely skies in them and some really vibrant colours. Think I'll just give up taking pics :-)
The new physio sounds like a nice chap, and at least you know you're doing all you can, and the right things, to help your mobility. Fingers crossed that when you finally get to see the surgeon again he'll come up with a way of sorting your ankle once and for all!

  2. I thought that one night catch your eye. I love Scarborough but the skies and my view of them is definitely the cherry on the cake! Make sure you have the camera charged up when you come for your visit.
Got the ankle 'on ice' at the moment.

  3. I'll definitely charge it up. What's the betting the skies will be bland for the evenings I'm up there?
Go easy with the ice.......you'll end up with frostbite next :-)
