Travelling home

A fairly brief post today, I have journeyed home, a longer time to hang around in Hull as I had got the bus times wrong, but on the whole a straightforward journey. Managed to get the three large cake carries into the bag, and found space to store it in the trains.
I did a sketch this morning before setting off.
Isobel had made me a hat and drawn a picture which was a nice surprise.
Took this photo at Hull station.
Did get home until 4pm and then had to go straight to the chemist to collect a prescription as they don’t open on a Saturday.
A little while at home then we were off back into Hull to see ‘The Vicar of Dibley. It was very good and funny, but now I am shattered!

  1. Quite a busy few days. I bet you’re in need of a rest now. Good job you have nice easy relaxing days 😂
The bag of cake carriers was a bit bulky in the end, but luckily not too heavy. You’ll be able to bring them all back again soon. You will have to get people to empty them immediately so you can take them back in the car this time. So much easier.
I like Anya’s fireplace. Another nice sketch to add to the ever growing collection.
It looks like Isobel has some of your art and craft genes. Great hat and the pic of the otter is lovely. I bet you’ll be framing that one.
The Vicar of Dibley is a great way to end the day. Although that’s how you end most of your days 🙂

  2. The Vicar of Dibley show was good, and it was a nice way to end the day but I was very tired and still feel weary this morning!
I am going to frame the picture Isobel drew.
