Quiet day

This morning I pottered in the house and got some washing done. Then I framed the picture that Isobel drew for me and it is hanging in my sitting room.
After lunchI walked to the sea front, I did a sketch which I am not happy with, it was a difficult view, but I will post it as I have no intention of removing any from the book even if I don’t like them. One phot of the sea as well, a grey day and pretty chilly.
I sorted through a couple of drawers this afternoon when I got back, still trying to declutter. I got dinner a bit later this evening as Tina had a evening service.
Getting my loose tooth glued in tomorrow, something to look forward to!

  1. The otter looks even better now it’s framed. Hopefully she’ll draw more things. She certainly has a talent for it.
I can’t really see what you don’t like about your sketch. It looks perfectly fine to me. But I’m no artist so I bow to your greater knowledge. It’s still good though 🙂 It does like a miserable day for doing any drawing judging by the photo.
Decluttering never ends does it? I’ve not really even started on mine, but I foresee it never ending when I do……..if I do!
At least your dentist is a nice chap, and will make a good job. I’m sure it won’t be too bad 🤞

  2. I hope Isobel keeps drawing too, the otter does look good and will make me smile every day.
Taking the poppy along to the WI meeting tonight as the competition is a crafted poppy.
