That was soon sorted when I got into the city so I had a coffee and went off for a wander. The large reindeer is back outside St Stephens.
I bought another small sketch book for after the present one is full and then walked to the door bridge that I like. I did do a sketch but finished when the rain started again.
These tepees were quite impressive near the bridge.
I had a sandwich at Waterstones and resisted buying any books this time.
I got on with tea soon after I was home and now have the poorly cat on my lap again, we are taking her to the vets for blood tests tomorrow.
Don’t blame you for having a ride out. Better than sitting around doing nothing, specially on a damp miserable day. Plus I know you always like going there. It’s also a good place for pics and for sketching. Another sketchbook in readiness. You are keen.
ReplyDeleteThe reindeer is huge! Very unusual.
I’m impressed that you showed willpower and didn’t buy a book. Bet it was tempting though 🙂
I hope Pandora starts to feel better soon ☹️
I was dozing on and off in the bus, but when I am awake it isn’t a bad journey. It was well over an hour yesterday getting in as the traffic going into Hull was heavy nd of course road works in tine the the Christmas rush!
