There was a nice remembrance display nearby.
Out of order but I did take a photo on the way.
As Tina was out for the day and I had a lunchtime dental appointment I decided to go to the hub cafe for a cuppa and a sausage roll. I was next to Linda in the queue! So we ended up having that coffee together!
I came home briefly and cleaned my teeth again, then off to the dentist. He cleaned my teeth while the injection worked, I have never had such a thorough scrape and polish. Then he started on the loose tooth, he joked as he was pushing in a metal spike and then a plastic one that he wouldn’t feel a thing so not to worry but I may be a bit uncomfortable! He is very easy to get on with. Another week so it has time to settle, then back to have the tooth glued to its neighbours.
I prepared dinner when I got back as I couldn’t be tempted to nibble as my mouth was still numb. Took it easy this afternoon.
Have started doing the drawings on the Twelve Days of Christmas sheets, but haven’t got very far. Maybe photos before too long.
It’s strange how things work out. What are the odds of bumping into her three times like that? Pretty high I would bet.
ReplyDeleteI really like today’s sketch. You should knock on the door and show them.
Your dentist does sounds a nice chap. Obviously very good at his job too. If all goes well you won’t have to see him for another year 🤞
I look forward to seeing the Christmas sheets 🙂
It seemed destined that we had thT drink together!
ReplyDeleteI was pleased with the sketch, I talked myself out of attempting those cottages a few days ago.
So far so good wih the tooth, it feels okay so hopefully next weeks session will be straightforward.
