I did wrap up warm and walked up to Woods to get some screws for Darren. He had given me a sample screw and wanted some similar that were countersunk. The man was opening boxes to check and pitched one box over the floor! He got me a fresh box of the same size and it was a pound. I apologised for the trouble for such a small amount, but he was very kind about it. Then I went into Tesco and got several packs of marzipan a well S some other shopping. When I wrapped up I wore my new hat curtesy of Isobel.
I didn’t do a lot after lunch but did do a sketch that I am happier with!
It was stressful catching Pandora and getting her in the carrier to go to the vets. She had an an accident on the way in which made her even more unhappy. Another injection and fingers crossed that will do the trick. She hasn’t appeared to sit on my lap yet, she will keep clear of me for a while!
Will have a quiet day tomorrow and hope the symptoms subside a bit.
Sorry to hear about the cold. On the bright side it’ll probably mean that you won’t get another until after Christmas 🤞 They’re horrid things to have.
ReplyDeleteThird is good, but I think the poppy should have got higher than that. They probably don’t like to let the “newbies” win 😊 Trust you to win something in the raffle though. You do really well in raffles. I’m surprised you haven’t won the lottery yet!
I really like your sketch. The Christmas cactus makes a great subject.
Poor Pandora, I hope she’s feeling better now. Hopefully she won’t avoid you for too long ☹️
Fingers crossed that a good night will see you feeling a bit better tomorrow 🤞
Not a great night and the voice is struggling a bit today, but no real plans so that is good.
ReplyDeletePandora did sit on me for a while last night and wa her usual pin during the night!
