Not a lot to report!

The snow hasn’t gone and the pavements are quite treacherous so I made a start on icing the Christmas cakes after I had done some chores. I used all the icing blocks I had bought and got nine cakes done. I then braved the short walk to the Co-op and got more icing and some marzipan for the cake I had to cut up. So, chaos reigned in the kitchen but they are all done, just have to decide on how to decorate them now!
Tina sent some pics, so something nice to look at. They had a ride on a train near a lake.
An indoor sketch again.

  1. Oh my! That’s a lot of cakes. But at least you nearly have them out the way. You can relax and forget about cakes for a while at least then. I bet at times you regret ever starting making them all those years ago 🙂 You’ll have to make a batch of real rubbish ones and then no one will want them any more 😊
It looks lovely where your housemates are. Can’t see much snow. The forecast here say it should snow between 3am and 5am this morning. So I may wake up to snow. I won’t hold my breath!
A very nice sketch again. You could fill the rest of that book with indoor sketches as you have a wealth of object crying out to be drawn 😊

  2. The snow is still here, no new falls, just too cold to thaw and more ice now!
It is good to have made hedwy with the cakes, just decorating to go now.
Will have to think about the next sketch!
