Pottery studio and colouring sheets!

I have been asked by friends to draw some sheets depicting The Twelve Days of Christmas for people at their dementia cafe to colour in. They will then be laminated and used as prompts at the Christmas meeting. I did say yes, wish I hadn’t and have been avoiding starting. But bit the bullet and got eight completed yesterday evening. Still need to rub out the pencil lines.
I left early this morning so I had time for a sketch of the way.
I spent a couple hours or so helping Rob unpack boxes and get lots of Christmas items on display. I walked home, took a picture of Polly’s Path on the way.
Also took a picture of a shop Christmas display, very pleasing and traditional.
I drew the last four sheets, much more tricky than the birds!
I will finish with a few pics that Darren took on Saturday.

  1. Well at least you don’t have to colour the sheets in 🙂 They all look good, and I bet they’ll be pleased with them. So pleased they ask you again next year!
I love todays sketch. That’s really really good. You do well for finding new subjects each day.
Do you have your eye on any of the new Christmas stuff at the pottery? I sure something will have caught your eye.
The birds were very keen to get fed on Saturday. I bet it’s slim pickings for them this time of year. Not so many visitors with tubs of food 🙂

  2. I am glad the sheets ar finished, I did quite enjoy doing them once I got started. Not sure if I will find time to make the poppy for the competition at the WI next week.
There is a tree tea light holder I quite like at the pottery.
