I went to the town hall a local businesses had stalls and Sher nd her mum were there.
After lunch I went into the garden for a while and did the edges on three more beds. This photos ft the magnolia, only three flowers on that tree and this on is the worse for wear!
I hosed the garden after dinner and took pics of the ‘elephants ears’ and the first honesty plant to flower.
I did the edges of the new puzzle and Darren found a couple of the pieces I had missed. Still one to find!
I’ve looked at the garden pics and I can see a big difference where you’ve trimmed the edges of the beds. They don’t do themselves, sadly! 😊
ReplyDeleteYou’re not having a lot of luck with the magnolias. Maybe they don’t thrive as well with the sea air.
Never heard of elephant’s ears in relation to plants before. I assume it the big floppy leaves? 🐘
Took me a long time to see where the bit was missing in the puzzle, so I’d have no chance of finishing it 😊 I’m sure it won’t take long for you, especially with a bit of help from Darren now and then.
Enjoy your evening.
Yes, it is the big leaves, I don’t know what the botanical name is.
ReplyDeleteThere are still a couple of beds to edge, I did take a view of the garden from the landing window and forgot to post it.
I think it will be an enjoyable puzzle,
