I did go in the garden this afternoon but only managed about an hour as I realised the heavy hoeing trying to remove roots is making my arms ache!
I did have a robin flitting about again, one pic quite close one further away. It flits about so by the time I have got gloves off and phone out it is a job to get shots. Not a great zoom on the phone either, but that doesn’t really matter.
Will endeavour to finish clearing that area before too long.
Since tea I have been reading my book, and have finished it which is sad, it is the first in a long series so will see about ordering the next one on the used book site.
A while ago I ordered three little glue bottles and was going to try a button picture to see if it is strong enough but will get around to that tomorrow. May be easier than the glue dots for folk at the dementia cafe class.
Don’t do too much of his jigsaw, you’ll upset him again 😊
ReplyDeleteHoeing might seem the easy option, but when you’re doing the amount you’re doing it will make your arms ache. It’s the muscles building. You’ll be like Arnold Schwarzenegger before long 😂 It’s coming along though. Glad to see you have a robin for company again. You must be stirring up plenty of delicious bugs for it to eat. It’ll be big and strong too!
It’s good you’ve found a series of books you like. Fingers crossed you can get more of them for a reasonable price. Don’t suppose the library would be of help?
White craft glue sticks most things. It’s just a bit slow drying sometimes.
I won’t do too much of the jigsaw and I definitely won’t finish it off!
ReplyDeleteThat area today has never been cleared so so full of roots so I need to hoe a bit deeper to get the worst of them put. Bit by bit. If we didn’t have cats I am pretty sure the robins would be feeding from my hands but I cannot encourage them to be that tame.
I could try the library, I have ordered books in before.
