This morning I needed to be around for Ringtons and a grocery delivery so I read for a while and did a couple of chores. Tina has a nasty cough again which is particularly awkward in Holy Week as there are services every day.,we had an early lunch and then I went out into the garden. Time to clear at the back of a bed where there is a path down to the wood burning pile. I didn’t want to use the strimmer as the hedgehog houses are there, I am fairly sure they didn’t frequent them but just in case, so the hoe again. It is actually better, but much harder work!Quite a lot to clear, but better now that when it is three feet high!
That was quite hard going and the garden bin is full yet again!
More reading this afternoon but I did pop round to see Bel as she didn’t answer her phone gain. She is a lot better and was actually ironing when I called.
This evening ai went to a pottery workshop nd made and decorated a pinch pot.
Going to Burton Constable tomorrow as Darren has a ‘have a go’ session with the r Henry club, so I will have. Nice walk in the grounds.
Not a good time for the Rev to get a nasty cough. Her boss is very inconsiderate 😊 Hopefully she’ll make it through the services.
ReplyDeleteShame you don’t seem to get the hedgehogs visiting now, but still best to give the strimmer a miss. You’d feel really bad if you caught one of them with it. Was a lot of work with the hoe, but it looks totally different.
I love the pot! Will it just dry out naturally?
Have you “had a go” at one of Darren’s sessions? You really should. I hope the weather stays fine for you both.
The pot will be fired twice, a bisque firing and then glazed. May get it back in about three weeks.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of work with the hoe and I didn’t get all the way along as I was too tired.
No, I haven’t had a go, maybe I will, we will see.
