After lunch I did go into the garden and decided to to start edging the flower beds. I was hoeing some weeds out as I went. I didn’t do every bed but three long lengths.
I filled the watering cans to water the bonsai trees later, I gave the hose moss this evening.
I sorted out the edge pieces of the new jigsaw, may get it started tomorrow.
Tina bought some candle moulds when we went to Hobbycraft and she has started making candles and they look great.
There was a craft fair in the parish hall today and Tina got me a very silly door stop.
Probably boot sale tomorrow and maybe some gardening.
It’s been a lovely day here too. I’ve really enjoyed a couple of walks today. Roll on summer 😊
ReplyDeleteI think that just edging the lawn makes such a difference. It neatens and tidies everything up nicely. The finishing touch to all your other hard work!
I love the candles! Such a nice colour as well. Any particular reason she wanted to do them? Are they for personal use or for sale at church events? Are they smelly candles?
The doorstop is great 😂 Just the sort of thing for my sense of humour. I wonder if the cats will attack it?
Hope you find a bargain at the boot sale tomorrow. You didn’t get anything last week!
I am always pleased when the edges are trimmed, as you say, it makes a big difference.
ReplyDeleteTina has lots of ends of church candles and is recycling them. May be to sell them, but just an interesting hobby as well I think. She has several different colours.
We hope our usual eating place will be open tomorrow.
