Cornflower.
Dandelion clocks, tried a closer one but no macro on my phone!
This weird plant crops up all over the garden, I leave the as the are easy to remove when they have flowered
These blue flowers cropped up a couple of years ago, just one or two to start with and now there are lots.
Got dinner for myself and Darren as Tina is away, then went back out in the garden to do a bit more and the get the hose out. Sitting with Pandora on my lap now!
Visiting Bel tomorrow as I won’t be here on Friday. So then probably a bit more gardening and packing ready for going to Peterborough on Thursday.
You picked a hot day to be in the garden. I’m sure you were likely out there longer than you should have been! But I’m guessing even though you ended up hot and sweaty, you were pleased to get a fair bit done.
ReplyDeleteEven though I don’t garden (I have sense π) I have used a strimmer a couple of times to edge a lawn. I know it’s not easy. I just gave up whereas you’ll persevere and get the hang of it π
The cornflowers are a beautiful deep colour. I also think the dandelions are really nice. I don’t think they should be called weeds at all. The same with daisies and buttercups as they make a lawn really colourful.
You’ve got some great plants. That’s the one advantage of such a big garden. Things just appear at random and spread. I know it’s weed most of the time but occasionally it’s good stuff too π
I hope the rest of your evening is more relaxing than your day.
Looking forward to seeing you in a few days π
There are a lot of plants in the garden now and it amazes me how they spread, but I am not complaining.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping I have done enough to keep the garden in check while I am away for a few days.will be good to catch up with a few people this time.
