Back home I made sure I was sorted for the journey tomorrow and got all the cakes and other bits into the hall so that Darren and Tina could load the car up in the morning.
After lunch I walked to Jeans, went into the banking hub on the way and took in a card and a small Christmas cakes for the ladies. We had a laugh and they said they hoped I had a good time tomorrow evening.
The nativity scene outside the Methodist church was very good, I liked the simplicity.
I did a sketch and took a couple of pics of the sea. It was a nice crisp day.
Jean was a bit down today, her back and eyes re giving her a lot of trouble at the moment. Terry gave me a lift home.
I have done tour sections of the advent jigsaw today so that ai am up to date on Tuesday!
Quiet evening and probably reasonably early night.
Sounds like you’re very organised for your trip as usual. Sounds like you’ve organised things for others too 🙂 A bit of a trip for you tomorrow. Well two trips, three if you count coming back to Peterborough! It’ll all be worth it as I’m sure the Strictly show will be really good. Long old day though.
ReplyDeleteThe nativity is very unusual. I wonder if it’s deliberate or if they just didn’t have time to paint it 🙂
Nice sketch. I wonder what you’ll end up sketching tomorrow.
Hope you sleep well in readiness for a long day tomorrow.
About as organised as I can be, just got to hope the weather is kind!
