Last night I finished writing the Christmas cards, well, thought I had but realised I had missed somebody this morning. Wrote that one and got to the post box before the collection. Still sent over thirty and that does not include the Peterborough ones as I will take them with the cakes and I still have a few to write that I can deliver locally. I did a few jobs round the house and went out into the garden to find something to sketch as we were off to the vets this afternoon. I drew a hellebore, it is weird, it took me ages to remember its name, I have a real mental block when it comes to this particular plant.Pandora had been sleeping on my rocking chair, she woke up as I came in but I picked her up and just about mangaged to keep hold of her as she struggled nd we got her into the carrier. I didn’t come out unscathed though.
She has more or less forgiven me, she has let me stroke her and even sat on my lap briefly.
Have printed my train tickets this evening and worked out how to take a screen shot on the iPad.
I did make up the next piece of the advent jigsaw but won’t take photos every day will just record the progress with occasional pics.
Shetland is on in a bit, will enjoy that.
That’s a lot of Christmas cards and stamps. Cost a fortune at the price they are now! I’m pleased I don’t have many friends!
ReplyDeleteNasty scratch on you hand. Hopefully the vets visits won’t go on for too long. Too much stress for all involved. At least she doesn’t totally hate you 🙂
Really nice sketch again.
I’m going to watch Shetland tomorrow.
Pandora didn’t actually stretch me on purpose, I think it was on of her back legs as I was struggling to keep hold of her! She sat with me most of the evening so was not too jumpy when we got home.
ReplyDeleteThe hellebores were all at the side of the house out of our view but transported that one successfully so we can see it from the kitchen window.
