The sky was quite bright but trying to taker it through a mucky and stickered window just made a weird picture!
When Tina came back from her hair appointment we went to visit Lesley who is now in a care home. I didn’t take a picture but she has a great view of the mere from her window. She only moved there yesterday but seems to have settled in quickly. When we left we went to Beverley and had lunch then Tina drove home for an appointment and I stayed in town and was catching a bus home. I had been looking for a new top to wear on Saturday and eventually ended up buying a gilet. I did do a sketch while I was out.
I thought these nutcrackers were fun.
I went to collect the take away this evening and it was tipping down with rain. The road was like a river and I did a bit of paddling!
I did the next section of the jigsaw, it was tricky, glad I am doing a bit at a time.
Have our poorly girl on my lap again, another vet trip next week, hope I can get her to drink the calming medicine!
That’s a great silhouette to start with. Brilliant pic. I really like the second pic too. A bit spooky through the dirty window. You do spot some good shots. Nice to get somewhere else to sketch too, although you’re never short of a good subject locally.
ReplyDeleteI bet they don’t leave those soldiers outside all night. I’m sure the local oiks would purloin them!
We had a good downpour this evening too, but luckily I didn’t have to go out in it 🙂
Good luck getting Pandora to take her medicine. I could never get Charlie to take anything as I didn’t have the knack. Vets make it look so easy!
The blackbird stayed will I tried to get the phone ready, such a nice thing to see in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI really hope she will lick the medicine up, the vet said it was tasty! No food from 10pm the previous night when we are taking her, not looking forward to it!
