Nice lunch and chilly walk

This morning I went to the banking hub and bought some lovely cards on the way home. The local newsagent had great connections and always has racks of discontinued cards at two for a pound. I pottered indoors as was going out with Sarah and David at 11.30am.we went to Cherry Lane garden centre and had a very nice lunch then did a bit of shopping. I bought a great glass board for rolling out pastry, but the bonus was it had the conversion charts on it all in one place. Great for someone who still uses imperial measurements!
I did go out for a walk to find something to sketch, it was extremely cold, so didn’t take too long!
I did the next section of the advent calendar jigsaw, will be halfway there tomorrow.
Caroline messaged to see if I could work on Saturday doing a clay session with a mother and son. I am going to see her tomorrow to check the details.
On Monday I bought a different puzzle book at Downtown. It seemed really complex when I started but have got the idea now. Wish I had bought the next two books at the very reduced price now!
Pandora has taken to sleeping coiled up on my lap like a ‘normal’ cat and not stretching right down my legs! Another sign that she doesn’t feel well.
Another evening pinned to the chair. Good job I have the new puzzle book!

  1. Which earrings did you wear to the hub today? I’m sure there expect different ones each time you go 🙂
Always nice to get out for lunch. I really like the pastry board. M sure you’ll get a fair bit of use out of that. Wish I still baked like I used to, but I can’t seem to be bothered these days. The can’t be bothered feeling creeps into lots of other things too!
You really are becoming the “clay and pottery lady” 🙂 It’s good that Caroline has faith in your abilities. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
Pandora looks very comfy on your lap. It does curtail your evening activities though 🙂 She obviously thinks you should rest more too!
I like the sketch again this evening. I can understand why the weather encourages you not to hang around too long. Speed sketching could become a thing 🙂

  2. Helping people with clay work was not what I envisaged doing, could have done with a bit more practice myself, but as you say it will probably be okay, not sure I will enjoy it though!
The board was only fiver, so useful and a bargain price!
