Now the tea light pics.
I did end up helping a bit as some last minute painters arrived, a family of six, three generations and another couple with a toddler. The little girl finished before the rest of her group so Caroline got out some polystyrene shapes, sequins and plastic pins and I played with them too while keeping her company.
I walked home as well this afternoon, called in for a chat with Sher and she let me choose a poinsettia as a gift, pot it was stood in as well. It is lovely but my little sitting room is a bit like a plant shop!
A lovely sky again this evening.
I will be off to the late service in a while so will finish with a couple of photos from Anya. They like to drive round and spot the Christmas lights, nice memory for me as I did it with them last year.
Some lovely sky pics tonight. I love the red skies, but my favourite is the first one from tonight. Very moody but nice. I really like tonight’s sketch too. Polly’s path had to get in the book 🙂
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas tree light turned out lovely. You have so many handmade Christmas decorations now. I wonder what the next one will be? It was nice that you helped out at the pottery while you were there.
The poinsettia is great. It looks huge! Luckily you manage to keep all the plants alive. I’d love to have lots of plants, but I never manage to keep them alive ☹️ It’s true what they say about green fingers, and I definitely don’t have them!
Driving round looking for the lights is really nice. Maybe ll get to do it again next year.
Happy Christmas 🎅🏻🎄
Quite a full day nd finished off with attending the ‘midnight’ service, although an earlier start.
ReplyDeleteI think winter trees make good backdrops for sky shots.
I do have a lot of hand made decorations, I don’t need any more but if something catches my eye….
Happy Christmas everyone.
