It is a very big crumble!
After clearing away I went out for a walk. Much mistier than yesterday and quite chilly. I walked along the front hoping for inspiration.
I did, eventually.
My legs really didn’t want to be walking today, wanting to find something to sketch spurred me on.
I pottered and sat with the cat this afternoon as I knew the family were bringing the dog. They arrived at about 4.30pm and after a chat and cuppa and cats disappearing upstairs we went down to collect fish and chips. We exchanged presents and then the family went to settle in their weekend accommodation. I do now have Pandora back on my lap, having trouble to get her to settle to eat, but she will hardly fade away any time soon and I am happy she has settled on my lap.
Tomorrow we will probably go to the pottery.
Well it wasn’t a wasted morning not going to see Bel. Enough crumble and pies to last the weekend 🙂
ReplyDeleteVery misty on the beach today. Still a few people around though. I really like your sketch. Simple but very atmospheric. You did well pushing yourself to walk when you really didn’t want to. I usually just give up!
I hope the dog being there doesn’t traumatise the cats too much. Luckily it isn’t for too long so I’m sure they’ll soon get over it and drop back into their normal routines.
Have fun at the pottery 🙂
It was very misty but quite a lot of people and I think there was an angling competition. The dog was very good and the cats mostly stayed well away!
