This morning I did some more tidying and making sure all cupboards etc were accessible as a man was coming to check the house thoroughly and note any repairs or replacements that may be necessary. He arrived at lunch time and was here two and a half hours. Tina had appointments today so ai changed my pottery day so that I could be here to show him round and answer any questions. I finished the advent calendar jigsaw but did do a section at a time. Haven’t decided if I am gong to try and get it back into the twenty four boxes yet!I went into the garden and picked picked a few poppy beds to sketch.
The kokedama hyacinth has really opened beautifully and smells gorgeous.
Yesterday evening I started wrapping gifts and have finished today, more organised than usual. I will get the steps and find some gift bags soon.
Feeling weary this evening and I haven’t really done a lot. Looking forward to catching up with Caroline tomorrow and telling her about the clay workshop
Quite a hectic time today then, shame you had to change your pottery days. I hope the man doesn’t decide the house is in need of so much work it’ll be easier to pull it down 😂
ReplyDeleteI bet you’ll end up putting the jigsaw back in the boxes. A tedious task but you excel in those!
I really like the poppy heads in the sketch. You’re finding some great subjects.
That looks like quite a bit of wrapping. It’s a shame people will just rip them open ☹️ But I know some people are very careful when they open pressies. Before you know it Christmas will all be over!
Enjoy a bit of pottery tomorrow. It’ll be like a well earned rest from daytime chores.
He thought it was a lovely house thar needs a lot doing. I think he makes recommendations as to work, but we know from experience the likelihood of anything being done!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun doing the jigsaw in bite size pieces so will get it back into the boxes.
I do seem to have sketched plenty of plant life, plenty of choice there.
