Jab and pottery

This morning I had an appointment before nine at the surgery to get my RSV vaccination. I walked to the surgery, was a bit early and was seen promptly.I walked home and Tina gave me a lift up to the pottery as she wanted to do some shopping. I started of filling paint pots but when Darren arrived to finish his painting I stopped to finish mine. I had started a ‘flower sheep’ and foolishly decided to make it a black sheep. Not the best decision I have made! It is now finished as was Darren’s dragon,  aubergine a picture of his when we collect them.
I did some washing up and then Caroline asked me to paint a couple of pieces as brush holders. Both were bases where the tops had been broken. I forgot to take pictures so will have to wait until they are fired now. I did a bit of shopping while I was at Freeport and didn’t walk home until getting on for three. The wind was really getting up by then.
Have done a bit of jigsaw and the puzzles sent by Mike. I managed to get the perpetual calendar on the right date, took a long time, so it will be staying on that date until the next December 31st!
I have taken a photo of my ‘winnings’ at the arcade and a couple of shells and a piece of rock from the beach,
Another plant for the sketch today.
Happy New Year!

  1. All jabs up to date again, that’s always good. They always seem to be sticking needles in us, but if it helps then hey ho.
I think the black sheep will look cute, most black sheep do. There’s a lot of us about 😊 I’ll look forward to seeing both results soon.
I can’t believe you of all people are giving up with the calendar. I thought a quick ten minutes every morning would see it done 😂 I know, I’m not funny!
I like the sketch. Hopefully if the weather ever gets any better you can return to outside subjects again….preferably not in the rain 🙂
    Happy New Year.

  2. A new year, let’s see what it brings.
I think a rainy and cod start is forecast!
No resolutions as I never keep them, but will try to be sensible with the eating!
