Post short of words and pictures!

Yesterday evening I finished the jigsaw before I went to bed. I started listening to Jane Eyre while I worked. I had been listening to
Five Little Pigs but didn’t have the last two tapes so have no idea how it ended!
Rather worryingly my knee was worse than it has been today, not a good start to using the new medication, but maybe it will kick in after a few days.
I went to see Bel this morning, arriving a little late as Blue had brought a mouse into the house. It wa unharmed nd lively but keeping the cats away while we were trying to catch it was fun! Once caught and released I set off.
Jean came to visit me for a change this week and we sat in the garden which was very enjoyable.
Jayne, who is helping me get the garden under control came round this evening. The lawn didn’t need cutting so she started to clear an are that had been terribly overgrown  under and around the large fir tree, you couldn’t see the wall of what plants had survived and the couch grass was very tall. I didn’t take a before picture but she did a fantastic job.
I have only done essential watering this evening using watering cans.

  1. In the Five Little Pigs doesn’t the wolf eat them all πŸ˜„ The jigsaw looks a bit more complicated than I expected. Bet there were some hard sections in that.
I do hope the new medication kicks in tonight and you get a better night, and a better day tomorrow.
I bet it was real fun trying to catch a scatty mouse 🐭 I think you’ll find if you drop something heavy on them it makes them a lot easier to catch 😳
It was a nice change for Jean to come to you this week. You need to get as much use out of that garden as possible after all the hard work. It sounds like Jayne is making life a bit easier for you by doing the jobs in the garden that are maybe a bit too much for you. It looks really nice around the base of the tree now.
At least your watering wasn’t spooky πŸ‘»

  2. That jigsaw was surprisingly tricky in some parts, quite a fun one to do though.
I hope the mouse lived to see another day, it was very tiny.
No spooky happenings for me, although that would make it a bit more interesting!
